Intern Field Trips

December 28, 2009

Picture of interns in front of a busInterns in the program attend a series of field trips to gain a better appreciation and understanding of VA operations and industry environments and how they interrelate to the acquisition function.  In November, the 2009 intern class (pictured here) visited a medical distribution center where they received a tour, learned about VA’s medical/surgical supply prime vendor program, and listened to a presentation given by the VA National Acquisition Center.
