Operation Holiday Cheer

The Martinsburg VA Medical Center hosted Operation Holiday Cheer, a holiday event for hospitalized Veterans on December 20, 2010.  Interns from the VA Acquisition Academy played card games with patients and caroled throughout the medical center along with an active duty soldier and a pet therapy dog.  The VAAA’s Internship School incorporates mission service into the curriculum to provide interns with an understanding of who the customer is and how they contribute to VA’s mission of caring for Veterans.
