Course Registration - VA Employees

Register for classes

Supply Chain Management Courses now available for registration through the Federal Acquisition Institute Training Application System (FAITAS)!  If you haven’t already created your FAITAS user profile – do it today!

The following instructions will be used to enroll in training for supply chain management training.  You may also refer to the appropriate tab in the Course Schedule spreadsheet.

Step 1 — Determine Your Professional Level of Experience and Knowledge

Take a moment to read “What Professional Level am I?” to learn what courses fit your current needs!

Step 2 — Create and Account (If you have not completed)

To access course dates and register for courses, search for the course ID number in the FAITAS and follow directions for registration.  If you and your supervisor have not created a FAITAS user account, you must create your accounts prior to registering for Supply Chain Management School courses.  Registering in FAITAS can be accomplished in theses quick easy steps!!

  1. Visit https://faitas.army.mil/ External link to a government website.
  2. Read the U.S. Government Information System warning and click ‘I Agree.’
  3. Click the ‘Register Here’ link on the log-in screen.
  4. Enter your Federal Email address and click ‘Register.’
  5. Follow the instructions in the confirmation email from Training@FAI.gov; click the link provided.
  6. NOTE I:  If you do not receive the automated email within 15 minutes, e-mail FAITAS@va.gov and in the subject line type “automated email.”
  7. Complete Registration Information and Security Questions, click ‘Continue Registration.’
  8. Update required Profile fields and click ‘Create Profile.’

Step 3 — Register for Courses

  1. Log into FAITAS.
  2. Navigate to Manage Career | Training | Course Catalog.
  3. Select the VA - Veterans Affairs teaching school from the Teaching School drop down list and click the View Catalog button.  The Course Catalog screen updates with a listing of offered courses and the class schedule for all schools in the VA Acquisition academy.
  4. Type “FLG” in the courses offered filter box to identify Supply Chain Management School courses.
  5. Click the Course Number to view the course description (if available).
  6. Click the blue “i” icon located on the right side of the Course Title yellow bar to display a modal window that includes the Course Details, Course Scope, Prerequisites, and Teaching School Notice (if available) for the selected course.  To return to the Course Catalog screen, close the modal window.
  7. Click the Apply button to create a new training request.
