Welcome to the Veteran Affairs Acquisition Academy (VAAA) Supply Chain Management School (SCMS).

Our mission is to provide best-in-class education, training, professional development, and certification of the VA supply chain workforce.  VAAA’s competency-based curriculum addresses general and technical skills, VA-specific functional areas, and core activities for our VA logistics professionals.  Emphasis is placed on translating theory, fundamentals, and concepts into practical application using expert-designed VA scenarios in conjunction with hands-on application.

SCMS offers innovative education opportunities for logistics professionals through courses taught at the academy alongside external civilian organizations and partnerships.  Some of the topics covered in our program are as follows:

  • Quality Assurance, Risk Management & Manual Supply Operations
